ARTIST BIOGRAPHY
Lucy is a painter and ceramic artist based in Yorkshire. She graduated with a BA in Fine Art from Manchester School of Art, working with photography and contemporary print.
Since moving from London. Lucy began her ceramic work making playful ornamental figures based on a kewpie gifted to her mother from her grandmother.
Lucy uses slab and hand building techniques to make limited edition ceramic pieces. Using the bisque as a canvas, Lucy paints dreamlike scenes of mermaids, cowgirls and other heroines.
