The Latin influence is again seen in this picture which pays homage to Picasso and cubism. It expresses colour harmonies and reflects on musicality. It has been painted on a reused panel with existing frame during a period of economic strife when the artist could barely afford materials and was desperate to feed his family and so tried to avoid framing and tried to cut corners and costs.
