ARTIST BIOGRAPHY
Takashi Tsushima was born in 1969 in Fukuoka, Japan. He is an illustrator, potter, and painter, decorating his work with distinctive, charming, and characterful animal motifs. .
Takashi has published his own children’s book “Onbu Onbu", and his artworks have also appeared in advertisements, children' s books, and on textile designs.
His handful of awards have included the Award for the “Hunt for This Century’s Leonardo da Vinci!” at the International Art Triennial in 2010, the Asian Digital Art Award in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012, and the Grand Prize Children’s Book Award in 2009.
